Reinforcing its commitment to advancing orthopaedic education and surgical precision, United Superspeciality Hospital, Gondia successfully hosted a Dry Saw Bone Hands-on Training Workshop on Total Knee Replacement (TKR), led by Dr. Abhishek Bhalotia, Robotic & Muscle-Sparing Joint Replacement Surgeon, along with his expert clinical team.
The highly focused academic and practical training initiative brought together 25 Orthopaedic Surgeons from across the region, offering them a structured platform to refine their surgical skills through immersive learning and real-time hands-on experience. The workshop emphasized precision, technique standardization, and evolving best practices in knee arthroplasty.
Participants received the unique opportunity to perform Total Knee Replacement procedures on Saw Bone models, simulating intra-operative conditions in a controlled learning environment. This enabled surgeons to grasp crucial aspects including bone cuts, alignment principles, implant positioning, soft tissue balancing, and decision-making strategies inherent to successful TKR outcomes.
Dr. Bhalotia, known for his expertise in robotic and muscle-sparing knee replacement techniques, personally guided the sessions, offering technical insights, clinical wisdom, and practical pearls to optimize surgical outcomes.
